Islantilla property of the month

Islantilla is a very popular yet peaceful resort attracting lots of visitors so expect plenty of local hospitality. It is totally purpose built towards tourism and caters best for mature couples and undemanding families.

The town is dotted with luxury villas and some large hotel complexes while a pretty promenade hugs the beach which is without doubt the main attraction. It consists of 4km of fine sand backed by glorious dunes in some places and a promenade around the centre.

A small commercial area has grown up in the centre which is now the focal point of the resort. Restaurants tend to be fairly authentic and cater for the many Spanish holidaymakers in addition to other Europeans. There are also a few bars along the promenade offering great views for a quiet evening drink.

Golf course

Golfers will certainly enjoy a round or two on the nearby 27 hole course.

Price guide

Properties on offer here are either on the beach or on the demanding 27 hole golf course, with apartments available from as little as 175,000 euros to large town house from 200,000 euros.
